For this week, we will continue with Chapter 11 of the textbook (Sections 1-3).

The focus of this chapter will center on The Industrial Revolution and its wide ranging impact on American (World) History. Sections 2 & 3 of this chapter will focus on the improvements in transportation and the impact of the factory system. This will be a short week for the students as we enter our Holiday break. There will no test this week. We will continue with chapter 11 after we return from the holidays and have a chapter test later that week.Students should continue working on their past assigned timeline entries. For this week, we will continue with Chapter 10 of the textbook (Sections 3 - 5).

From Chapter 10 sections 4 & 5: The road to war: The causes and effects of the War of 1812. Monday and Tuesday will review these final sections of chapter 10 with special focus on the War of 1812. Our test will most likely be Tuesday, Dec 11th. After our test, which will be this Tuesday or Wednesday, we will start Chapter 11 of the textbook. The focus of this chapter will be the Industrial Revolution.

Students should continue working on their past assigned timeline entries. We do have a new timeline entry for this chapter. See the Home Work page for more info.

For this week, we will continue with Chapter 10 of the textbook (Sections 3 - 5).

Class topics will include: From Chapter 10 section 3: Our first war: War with Tripoli.

From Chapter 10 sections 4 & 5: The road to war: The causes and effects of the War of 1812.
