I hope you enjoyed your summer vacation. . . . expect a fantastic 8th grade school year. You’re going to love “OUR” history class! Please keep in mind that all weekly schedules are subject to change.
For the first week of class:
Monday- Welcome back introductions and classroom expectations/procedures.
Tuesday & Wednesday- We will do a basic geography/map skills review.
Thursday - We will examine Primary & Secondary sources of history. We’ll also introduce theories about the first migration to the Americas.
Friday - We will examine advanced civilizations in America before and during the arrival of Christopher Columbus. (Aztecs, Incas, & Mayans).
